Korean LCC to launch new routes

Korean LCC Jin Air has firmed plans to launch its first International routes from its main base at Seoul Incheon Airport. From December 21st it will launch 4x weekly B737-800 service to Bangkok and from the 22nd December it will launch a 4x weekly service to Macau.

Jin Air will face stiff competition on the trunk Incheon Bangkok route with several carriers already operating.

Thai Airways operates a double daily A330 and B777

Korean Air a double daily B777-300

Asiana a 12x weekly A330

Skystar Airways a daily B767-200 operation

On the ICN Macau route, air Macau operate a daily service with a mix of A319, A320 and A321 aircraft.
