Jin Air expands international presence
Korean Air's low-cost subsidiary Jin Air has revealed that it will add two more international gateways this winter. Effective October 26th, Jin Air will begin serving Clark International Airport in the Philippines operating five-times weekly from its base at Seoul Incheon. It will compete on the route with Asiana Airlines which operates a daily A320 service.
Additionally, and effective November 29th, Jin Air will commence a five-times weekly service to Macau, China, a route that is served 13 times weekly by Air Macau which has monopolised a route that has seen over 87,000 passengers fly on its non-stop service between June 2009 and 2010.
