Jetstar to start daily Gold Coast–Tokyo service

Jetstar has decided to expand its forthcoming weekly flights between Gold Coast and Tokyo to a daily service from March 2009.

A fleet of A330-200s will operate on the new route and the carrier will maintain five weekly wide body tag services between Gold Coast–Sydney.

Jetstar CEO Bruce Buchanan said: “Jetstar’s commitment to building a sustainable and now sizeable international and domestic flying hub from the Gold Coast is further vindicated by this announced next phase of expansion on the Gold Coast-Japan route."
