Gulf Air launches double miles promotion

Gulf Air has announced the start of a “Double Miles Promotion” to coincide with the launch of its newest destinations, giving its frequent flyer programme (FFP) members the opportunity to fly to Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai, Thiruvananthapuram in India or Mashhad in Iran Kavita Sharma AlJassim.

Gulf Air’s senior manager of customer experience said: “We constantly strive to make every facet of our FalconFlyers’ travel experience more rewarding. This FFP promotion celebrates the launch of our newest destinations and gives our members the opportunity to travel to them while earning even more miles.”

Gulf Air will become the first full-service network carrier to fly into Al Maktoum International when it linking Bahrain to the new airport.

Starting on the 14th December the airline will operate four weekly flights to Iran’s second most populous city, Mashhad, while flights to Trivandrum International Airport will commence on 15th Gulf Air’s FalconFlyer programme, with its incentives and benefits for the airline’s frequent flyers, has garnered positive feedback and been well embraced by Gulf Air passengers with impressive growth across its different network countries.

It offers members privileges and value added benefits such as bonus miles up to 250%, family membership and special privileges both on the ground and in the air. A host of generous benefits and incentives are available for all three categories of the programme’s card-holders. For instance, Gold, Silver and Blue members get two free economy tickets to the GCC and Middle East region when traveling once between Bahrain

The double miles offer is valid for 2 months from the date of the destination launch.
