Flydubai to add new jet

Dubai based low cost carrier FlyDubai has announced that it will add a seventh based B737-800 in Dubai from March 2010. The low cost will inaugrate new scheduled services this week to Bahrain and Kathmandu. The fledgling carrier has quicky established itself as a key player in the Middle East market, competing with fellow low cost carriers such as Jazeera and Air Arabia.

FlyDubai is now the second largest operator at DXB offering 77 weekly flights and 9 destinations (not including Bahrain and Kathmandu) with Doha in Qatar the most popular service with 20 weekly frequencies.
