FLYDUBAI CONTINUES EXPANSION

Emirates low-cost subsidiary flydubai has announced new scheduled services to two more destinations. Beginning November 23rd, it will commence thrice-weekly services to Abha, Saudi Arabia which will become a daily rotation from January 17th. There is no carrier currently operating this route. Additionally, flydubai will begin a twice-weekly service to Ashghabat in Turkmenistan, effective November 30th. Turkmenistan Airlines currently operates this route on a twice-weekly basis.


051110-egypt-air-FFFMEA TO BEGIN NEW FLIGHTS TO THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO

Effective December 6th, Middle East Airlines (MEA) will begin a new weekly rotation from Beirut to Kinshasa. The service will be operated with A330-200 equipment and there will be a scheduled stopover in Kano.


KUBAN ADDS SECOND AIRPORT IN ISTANBUL051110-kuban2-FFF

Krasnodar based Kuban Airlines will begin thrice- weekly service to Istanbul Ataturk beginning November 1st. This will complement its recently launched four-times weekly rotation into Istanbul Ataturk.

Star Alliance member, Egyptair will begin new services from its Cairo hub to Sohag on a twice-weekly rotation and will also add services from Sohag to Kuwait City, also twice-weekly. Both routes are to be operated with narrowbody A320 service.


KUBAN AIRLINES HEADS TO TEL AVIV051110-kuban1-FFF

Kuban Airlines has announced that it will begin a new once-weekly service from Krasnodar to Tel Aviv, Israel. The service will begin November 17th and is set to be operated with B737 equipment. There is no scheduled service between the city pairs and Kuban Airlines first service into Israel.
