And Finally... Fly Me I'm Famous

Spanish budget carrier Vueling Airlines has developed a new way of attempting to attract passengers to its flights with the chance to fly on one of its specially branded aircraft. The Barcelona-based carrier has renamed one of its Airbus A320 fleet ‘FLY ME I’M FAMOUS’ and has specially repainted and designed the jet to reflect the look and feel of the music and events of Grammy-winning DJ/producer and EMI Music artist David Guetta, who helped launch the aircraft last week.

The artist launched his latest album and performed his brand new single at a unique party at 30,000ft onboard the aircraft between Paris and Ibiza on May 26. The event coincided with this year’s opening of Cathy & David Guetta legendary parties in Ibiza and the start of the summer season on the Balearic island.

Vueling is currently the fourth largest operator to Ibiza flying more than 65 weekly flights to eleven destinations, offering more than 10,000 seats per week, approximately 11.8 per cent of the total weekly capacity.
