INTRO:
The national airline of the United Arab Emirates, Etihad Airways, was established by a royal decree in 2003. The airline is based in Abu Dhabi and operates a hub operation there.

NETWORK STRATEGY:
Etihad currently flies to 64 destinations the Middle East, Europe, Indian subcontinent, North America, Far East, Africa and Oceania.
Etihad hubs traffic through Abu Dhabi to a wide range of destinations, with twelve destinations served in Europe which feed over twenty destinations in Asia. It also has a growing African network and serves North America with non-stop serves to New York, Chicago and Toronto.
Strategic Partnership: Jong Hum Park, director general, Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs (MLTM), Republic of Korea met with James Hogan, CEO, Etihad Airways to announce the airline's new Seoul service, starting in December.
