Ethiopian Delays Boeing 787 Service

Based on latest information as of 16MAY12, Star Alliance member Ethiopian Airlines' Boeing 787 inaugural date is being postponed by at least 6 weeks.

Previously planned inaugural on 15JUN12 is now rescheduled to 01AUG12. Planned operation remains unchanged, which sees the Dreamliner operating Addis Ababa - Johannesburg, followed by Addis Ababa - Dubai (ET600/601) service.

At this moment, planned 787 service to Guangzhou from 16AUG12 (daily), Harare from 16SEP12 (4 weekly) and Lusaka from 18SEP12 (3 weekly) remains unchanged.
