Enjoy the sights of Dubai and Sharjah from a seaplane
Visitors to Dubai can now enjoy the scenery of the emirate and its neighbour Sharjah from a seaplane.
The new seaplane attraction service, which is called Heritage Arabia, comes after the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) and seaplane operator Seawings launched the project to provide a new tourist attraction, as well as an ideal business travel solution between the two emirates.
After the flight there is also an open-top bus tour around Sharjah city available visiting its top attractions and museums.
Dr Nigel Rea, chief operating officer of Seawings said: “Every Seawings tour consists of a water take-off and landing in a Cessna 208 aircraft. Each seat on the aircraft has its own large viewing window in which to enjoy the views.”
The 30-minute tour will depart from the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club and fly over popular tourist attractions in both Dubai and Sharjah.
