Delta announces Haneda start date

Skyteam member Delta Airlines has announced that it will begin scheduled services to Tokyo Haneda from Detroit and Los Angeles from January 2011 with B747-400 equipment.

Delta currently serves both of these markets on a daily basis from Tokyo Narita. Delta is the only carrier operating Narita from Detroit, however seven carriers operate LAX from Narita.
