Cathay to operate Milan

Hong Kong based Cathay Pacific, has announced that it will inaugrate new services to Milan Malpensa from its home base of Hong Kong from March 2010. The new service will commence from March 28 and be operated on a 4x weekly rotation with B777-300 equipment.

There is currently no scheduled non stop service between Hong Kong and Milan Malpensa. The new route will be the 6th destination in Europe that is operated by Cathay. It has existing services to

  • Amsterdam
  • Paris (CDG)
  • Rome (FCO)
  • Frankfurt (FRA)
  • London (LHR)

All of the above routes are operated with a mix of B747 and A340 aircraft.
