BMI steps up flights to Morocco

UK Star Alliance carrier BMI is to increase its links with Morocco opening a new route to Agadir and increasing service to Marrakech.

The Lufthansa subsidiary said today that its direct flights to Agadir will operate twice weekly from London Heathrow on Tuesdays and Saturdays using an Airbus 320 aircraft.

As with Casablanca and Marrakech, both Economy and Business Class customers on the airline may take their golf clubs, bicycles and other sports equipment for free as part of their free hold baggage allowance. Flights available from $480 return.

The airline also announced it is increasing its flights to Marrakech from three to five per week from 1 October 2011.
