Bahrain Air re-opens Beirut links
Value carrier Bahrain Air has announced that flights to Beirut will resume on June 22 marking the peak season of travel between the Arabian Gulf region and Lebanon.
Gulf Air is to resume flights to the Lebanese capital on the same day.
Bahrain Air will fly five times weekly to Beirut offering economy and premium economy seats.
The airline is understood to have leased out two of its aircraft to reduce costs during the recent downturn caused by the civil unrest in Bahrain.
It has however, also announced a four times a week flight to Istanbul.
