Aurigny's flagship route at Manchester
This week, Aurigny Air Services celrbates a decade of flights between Guernsey and Manchester airport.
Aurigny's commercial director, Malcom Coupar said: "Our Manchester route is known in the island as the “gateway to the North” and serves a vital role in providing further access to the UK for islanders and for our UK passengers to head south for breaks and business."
"This is a popular route – last year we carried our 500,000th passenger and we are delighted to offer double daily flights to and from Guernsey on most days throughout the year."
Last year Aurigny introduced two new ATR 72-500s into its fleet, which serve Manchester.
