Established in 1993 and re-launched in 1997, Qatar Airways is the national carrier of Qatar, based at Doha Hamad International Airport. The carrier is wholly-owned by the Qatari government. 

Qatar Airways is one of the Middle East's largest network airlines, operating an extensive network of international services in the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America and North America. Qatar Airways is also a member of oneworld.

Qatar Airways is one of the airlines registered to attend the Routes World 2026 event in Frankfurt, Germany.
