Airline In Focus: Emirates
Dubai-based Emirates is one of the world’s largest international airlines, operating a long-haul network through Dubai International Airport.
The carrier serves more than 150 destinations and extends its reach through 168 codeshare, interline and intermodal partnerships, giving customers access to a further 1,750 cities.
Emirates operates the world’s largest fleets of Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s while expanding with the A350. Its multibillion-dollar retrofit program is also introducing updated cabins and premium economy across much of the fleet.
The airline carried 53.2 million passengers in fiscal 2025-26 and reported record revenue of $35.7 billion and pretax profit of $6.2 billion.
