Airline CEOs set to give exclusive insight at World Routes 2019

Featuring key players from all corners of the aviation industry, the World Routes 2019 conference programme forms a core element of the event. This year delegates can look forward to enhancing their knowledge with exclusive insight from airline CEOs from across the globe.

Among the line-up of industry leaders confirmed to speak during the programme, delegates will hear from Merren McArthur (pictured), chief executive of Tigerair; Martin Gauss, chief executive of airBaltic; and Jaan Albrecht, chief executive of Saudia.

Through a range of keynote interviews, panel debates and airline briefings, these airline leaders will explore the factors driving change and opportunity across the sphere of aviation.

Participating in a keynote interview, Gauss will discuss the future strategy of airBaltic as one of Europe’s fastest-growing carriers. The CEO will outline how the organisation aims to grow its network from its heartland in the Baltics and beyond, and how its transition to an all-A220 fleet will enable it to target even more airports for routes and bases.

The programme will also cover the growth forecasts of Saudi Arabian Airlines in an in-depth discussion with Jaan Albrecht. With an exceptional career holding many leadership positions at organisations including Star Alliance, SunExpress and Austrian Airlines, Albrecht is ideally placed to share the details of Saudia’s goal to reach a 200-aircraft fleet within the next two years.

Innovation is a key theme that will be explored during the World Routes 2019 conference programme, with Tigerair’s CEO, Merren McArthur, set to outline the regional airline’s aim of lowering costs while improving customer experience. Having occupied several leadership positions at Virgin Australia over the past ten years, McArthur will provide delegates with a cutting-edge view into the low-cost market and its current trends and challenges.

The World Routes 2019 conference programme will also feature industry heavyweights from Qantas, AirAsia Group, Go Air, Boeing and more. Visit the web pages to discover the full line-up of speakers, or register your place for the event today.
