AirAsia in India expansion
Air Asia has announced significant expansion from its Kuala Lumpur base to five new markets in India, whilst also adding a scheduled service from Penang to Chennai.
AirAsia currently serves three markets in India and will inaugrate new scheduled services to the following markets from KUL:
- Kuala Lumpur- Mumbai 4x weekly rotation with A320 equipment effective 06 May
- Kuala Lumpur- Chennai 1x daily rotation A320 effective 17 May
- Kuala Lumpur- Bangalore 1x daily rotation A320 effective 20 May
- Kuala Lumpur- Hyderabad 1x daily rotation A320 effective 20 Jul
- Kuala Lumpur- Delhi 1x daily rotation A320 effective 04 Aug
