Air France to place A380 into Narita

Effective September 1st, Skyteam member Air France will place its superjumbo A380 on the Paris CDG Tokyo Narita sector.

Air France currently operates the route on a 20x weekly basis with a mix of B747/B777 and A340 aircraft type. JAL and All Nippon, oneworld and Star members respectively operates a daily frequency on the route.

IATA BSP data shows that over 600,000 passengers flew the route between March 09-10, with Air France having a 36% share of the O+D market.
