Air Arabia increases flights to Turkey
Air Arabia has announced the expansion of service to the Turkish city Istanbul, from the carrier's primary hub in Sharjah, UAE.
Beginning June 10, 2011, Air Arabia will offer 7-weekly flights, an addition of three flights to existing schedule, making it easier and more convenient for passengers to visit this historic locale. The airline currently offers four flights a week to Turkey.
AK Nizar, head of commercial department at Air Arabia, said: “We are extremely pleased to announce the expansion of service between Sharjah and Istanbul which will further enhance the air travel options for the residents of both States. In 2010, Air Arabia carried over 42,000 passengers on this route; this number reflects the ever growing appeal for Air Arabia flights between the two cities and we are looking forward to offer more customers our value for money travel”.
