AA pulls Moscow link.

American Airlines has announced that it will discontinue its scheduled flight from its home base of Chicago to Moscow Domodedovo from the 30th September this year.

AA operates DME with a daily service from ORD with B767-300 aircraft. Originally the carrier had planned to resume service from April 2010, however these plans have now been shelved and AA has no current plans to resume service.

The cancellation leaves only United Airlines which operates Washington Dulles and Singapore Airlines which operates a tag through DME into Houston.
