Air Algérie is further expanding its operations in the UK, reflecting a surge in passenger demand.

The airline confirmed on Feb. 23 that it will introduce flights to Manchester, joining its existing London routes.

Services from Algiers’ Houari Boumediene Airport to both London Heathrow and London Stansted will also see increased frequency. Air Algérie operates five weekly flights to Heathrow and four weekly flights to Stansted.

“The Group is expanding services to Manchester, Heathrow, and Stansted, providing greater flexibility for travelers between the two countries,” the airline said. “For the summer 2026 season, weekly flights to the UK will rise to 14.”

Air Algérie began regular services to Stansted in April 2025. Most Heathrow flights and two of the Stansted services will be operated using Boeing 737-800 aircraft, while the remaining two Stansted rotations will use Airbus A330-200s.
