Russia’s regional Saratov Airlines has taken delivery of its first Antonov An-148 aircraft. A second aircraft will be delivered before the end of the year.

United Airlines plans to convert its recent order for 65 Boeing 737-700s into four 737-800s and 61 737 MAX aircraft, airline management said during an Investor Day presentation Nov. 15.

Chicago-based United Airlines has placed an order for 24 Embraer E175s.

South American company Synergy Aerospace has ordered 12 firm ATR 72-600s, plus six options.

Dubbed “Baby Boom,” the delta wing aircraft is a one-third scale demonstrator for a small supersonic airliner which Boom Technologies aims to certificate for commercial service by 2023.

JetBlue has unveiled its newest special livery, “What’s Old Is Blue Again,” on an Airbus A320. Dubbed “RetroJet,” the aircraft will be used on this season’s first roundtrip service between New York JFK and Palm Springs International Airport.
