Virgin Atlantic Airways Orders Two Boeing 747-400s
Virgin Atlantic Airways placed an order with Boeing for two 747-400s for delivery late next year, bringing the carrier's 747 fleet to 18, including eight 747-400s. GE Capital Aviation Services will provide lease financing for the two aircraft, which will be powered by CF6 engines.
