U.S., U.K., NATO AWACS planes get radar improvement kits

The first U.S. Air Force E-3 AWACS aircraft has been retrofitted with a Radar Systems Improvement Program (RSIP) kit, Boeing Co. said yesterday. Eight of the kits are on order and the AF has an option for five more. Additional kits to retrofit the fleet will be contracted separately, Boeing said...
