U.K. Leaders Defeat Proposal To Privatize ATC Control System
U.K. leaders defeated a proposal yesterday to privatize the nation's air traffic control system. An amendment had been offered to model the U.K.'s privatization after Canada's initiative with Nav Canada, but there was too much opposition in the House of Lords, sources say.
