Tower leases two 747-200s, plans one freighter conversion
Tower Air will add two 747-200s to its fleet, on lease from GE Capital Aviation Services, and retire one 747-100 in the first quarter of 1998. The New York Kennedy-based airline also will convert a 747-200 passenger aircraft into a freighter by the end of the first quarter.
