Tweed New Haven Regional Airport

Avelo Airlines is adding four more routes from Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN), growing its original U.S. East Coast base to 21 destinations served.

The airline will open its seventh base at Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa, California on May 1.

Puerto Rico’s capital and largest city San Juan will be served from November.

The carrier is buttressing its MCO base, where it trains pilots and flight attendants.

The service will mark the carrier’s first flights to/from the state of New York.

The US startup now operates to 13 airports from Tweed-New Haven Airport.
