Flair, an all-Boeing 737 operator, will fly the St. John’s International Airport route until Oct. 25, 2024.

New flights are being launched to Edmonton and Calgary.

Five routes are being launched from Toronto Pearson and Hamilton.

The ULCC will add three more routes from the airport in June.

The airline is converting 767 passenger aircraft into freighters for new all-cargo service.

'It has become unviable to serve these markets and these decisions were regrettably inevitable as demand is being obliterated by the Atlantic bubble and third-party fee increases,' WestJet president and CEO Ed Sims said.
