Canada’s ‘secret’ destination is about to be discovered by a lot more visitors as it prepares for its role as host of Routes Americas 2019.

The region’s air service development community will unite in the city for the 12th Routes Americas, taking place from 12-14 February 2019.

Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport has an ambition to hit two million passengers per year by 2020.

The Routes Americas route development forum has been officially handed over by Quito, Ecuador to Quebec City, Canada – the host destination for 2019.

The first Canadian Routes Americas will take place in 2019 following a successful bid from Quebec City Jean Lesage International Airport.

The airline currently utilises a 136-seat Boeing 737-700 on its daily Toronto - Québec City route but will replace this with a 78-seat Dash 8-Q400NextGen when Encore takes over the operation of the route from March 15, 2015.
