Komy Mirrors was selected by Lufthansa to supply a total of 5,400 mirrors for installation in the overhead bins on the carrier's Boeing 737, 757, Airbus A319, A320 and A321 aircraft. Komy will deliver between 400 and 500 units a month, depending on LH's modification schedule, it said. Spirit AeroSystems announced it reached an agreement with Boeing regarding "certain claims associated with" the development and production of the 787-8. Neither company disclosed the precise nature of the claims, though they are believed to be related to the 787 program's continuing delays. Rockwell Collins was awarded a contract to develop components for the COMAC C919 aircraft simulator program by Xian Aviation Science and Technology Co., an AVIC subsidiary. The simulator will be used by COMAC to support the C919 aircraft development.
