Komy Mirrors was selected by Lufthansa to supply a total of 5,400 mirrors for installation in the overhead bins on the carrier's Boeing 737, 757, Airbus A319, A320 and A321 aircraft. Komy will deliver between 400 and 500 units a month, depending on LH's modification schedule, it said. LH has chosen the mirrors, which are intended to shorten security checks and allow passengers a clearer view of belongings, as a standard for all new A319, A320 and A380 aircraft.

AerCap Holdings said it signed 13 new aircraft lease agreements and delivered eight aircraft in the 2010 fourth quarter. Boeing on Monday began final assembly on the 1,000th 767, a 767-300ER for ANA. ANA has taken delivery of 89 767s. GECAS delivered one new Boeing 737-800 to China United Airlines and one new Airbus A320 to Saudi Arabian Airlines, the twelfth of 15 A320s it has leased to the carrier.

Spirit AeroSystems announced it reached an agreement with Boeing regarding "certain claims associated with" the development and production of the 787-8. Neither company disclosed the precise nature of the claims, though they are believed to be related to the 787 program's continuing delays. Spirit AeroSystems designs and builds the 787's composite forward fuselage, engine pylons and wing leading edge components. Under terms of the agreement, the parties will complete formal amendments to their work agreement in the first half of 2011.

Embraer on Monday finalized the sale of 10 E-190s to China's CDB Leasing Co., which signed an MOU for the order in December 2009. The jets will be operated by China Southern Airlines and will be used to develop new markets, Embraer said. The first delivery is expected in the second half of 2011.

It is ST Aerospace's first 757-200 combi conversion performed for a commercial customer. Rockwell Collins was awarded a contract to develop components for the COMAC C919 aircraft simulator program by Xian Aviation Science and Technology Co., an AVIC subsidiary. The simulator will be used by COMAC to support the C919 aircraft development.
