ST Aerospace has acquired a 35% stake in EADS EFW and plans to begin an Airbus A330 passenger-to-freighter (P2F) engineering development phase this month.

The company joins other major UK-based aerospace manufacturers, including Airbus and Rolls-Royce, as a high level member of the center, which has been founded in direct response to the UK government’s national manufacturing strategy.
