UK startup ARC Aerosystems has secured the first sale of its Pegasus two-seat autogyro, the jumping off point for its planned Linx family VTOL aircraft.
PRATT & WHITNEY earned $382m on $6.4b sales in 4Q23 vs $306m on $5.7b in 4Q22; and lost $1.5b (includes $2.9b in charges taken in 3Q23 related to GTF power metal issue) on $18b in 2023 vs $1.1b profit on $20.5b in 2022. It delivered 3,144 engines (875 large commercial/2,063 P&WC) in 2023 vs 2,896 (712/1,965) in '22; orders were not disclosed.
