Over 49,000 new commercial aircraft engines are expected to be delivered over the next 10 years globally according to the yet to be released Aviation Week Network 2022 Commercial Fleet and MRO Forecast.

The Asia-Pacific region (including China) constitutes a 30% share of those deliveries. Leading engine types entering service include the CFM LEAP series of engines, Pratt & Whitney's PW1100G and the Rolls-Royce Trent series.
