The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) acquired the Airbus H225M in November 2016 under its Medium-Lift Helicopter Program, to replace two squadrons of AS332/532 Super Pumas/Cougars.

The first batch was delivered in early 2021 and the second batch this January.

On top of troop lift and transport, the H225M will take over 24/7 search-and-rescue operations within the Singapore Flight Information Region.

RSAF H225M pilots are also equipped with Thales Scorpion Helmet-Mounted Displays to reduce pilot workload and “head-down” time.

The H225Ms will be participating at the Singapore Airshow for the first time, with a “souped-up” version on display, featuring satellite-communications radome, electronic-warfare (EW) suite and searchlight.
