Three Las Vegas airports will offer sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) during the 2023 National Business Aviation Association Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), giving departing aircraft the opportunity to be fueled with the sustainable fuel.

NBAA-BACE will be held Oct. 17-19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center with a static display at the Henderson Executive Airport (HND).

World Fuel Services will provide 40,000 gal. of SAF at the Henderson airport—more than double the amount available there during the 2021 NBAA convention. World Fuel also will offer the fuel at the North Las Vegas Airport, which will carry it for the first time during the NBAA convention. In addition, Signature Aviation and Atlantic Aviation will carry SAF at the Harry Reid International Airport during the convention. The fuel can reduce aviation carbon emissions by up to 80%, NBAA says.

“Providing SAF for aircraft departing from this year’s convention not only makes the event more sustainable but allows NBAA members to take an active role in helping the industry to achieve our net-zero target,” says Ed Bolen, NBAA president and CEO.
