Rostec released a limited edition perfume as part of the Checkmate marketing campaign during the Dubai Airshow, adding fragrance to a long list of sometimes unusual marketing gimmicks employed to sell advanced weapon systems.

Rostec introduced the Checkmate low-cost fighter to Dubai Airshow visitors during a spectacular event inside a dedicated pavilion on the Dubai Airshow’s static display. Sound, lights and even a perfume are part of the multisensory promotion endeavor.
