Wheels and brakes MRO provider TP Aerospace has grown its aftermarket offering by establishing a distribution business for several component types.

Forming part of the Denmark-headquartered company’s Green Sunrise growth strategy, TP Aerospace Distribution will operate alongside the existing TP Aerospace PRO and TP Aerospace Trading businesses and will provide the distribution of piece parts, rotables and OEM supported brake MRO services.

The business aims to simplify supply chain and logistics operations by providing aircraft operators and maintenance providers with easy and immediate access to parts and components on a 24/7 basis. The division will be headed up by Anne Kalman, TP Aerospace’s global distribution director.

“We have been working towards adding a distribution setup to our existing business for some time, and becoming a distributor is a natural step in our continued journey to be a complete one-stop-shop for aircraft wheels and brakes.” says Thomas Ibsoe, president and founder of TP Aerospace.

Launched in 2018, TP Aerospace’s Green Sunrise strategy targeted the opening of 11 new locations worldwide in addition to its existing seven sites at the time. To date, these expansions have included new MRO workshops in Malaysia, Thailand, Russia and its first wheels and brakes shop in the UK close to East Midlands Airport.
