Global Regulatory Update, May 7-13, 2023

EASA has issued proposed airworthiness directive 23-053 for Airbus A380-841s, -842s and -861s, amending time limits and maintenance checks or damage tolerant airworthiness limitation items, airworthiness limitations section part 2, effective 14 days after airworthiness directive is issued.

EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2022-0252R1 for Rolls-Royce Deutschland BR700-715A1-30s, -715B1-30s and -715C1-30s, requiring inspection of low-pressure compressor booster rotor, effective May 5, 2023.

EASA has issued a safety information bulletin 2021-01R1 regarding Collins Aerospace very high frequency data radios and data link over very high frequency data link mode 2 operations.
 

Transport Canada has issued airworthiness directive CF-2022-13R1 for Airbus Canada A220-100s and -300s, prohibiting installation of non-conforming bleed leak detection system sensing elements, plus other actions, effective May 2, 2023.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2023-07-12 for all Airbus A300s, revising the maintenance or inspection program to incorporate new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations, effective May 30, 2023.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2023-06-15 for certain Boeing 737-600s, -700s, -700Cs, -800s, -900s and -900ERs, requiring inspecting for existing repairs at a certain station frame inner chord and web, inspecting the area for cracking and performing applicable on-condition actions, effective May 30, 2023.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2023-07-02 for all Airbus A330-200s, -300s, -800s, -900s, A340-200s, -300s, -500s and -600s, requiring replacing the doghouse door lock placard with an improved instruction placard, effective May 30, 2023.
 

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2023-07-05 for certain Airbus Canada A220-100s, requiring inspecting the over-wing emergency exit door escape line and correcting the routing if required, effective May 30, 2023.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2023-06-14 for certain Pratt & Whitney Canada PW308As and 308Cs, requiring replacing all combustion chamber outer case flange bolts and modifying the case and inner bypass ducts, plus prohibiting installation of certain flange bolts on certain engines, effective May 30, 2023.
