Global Regulatory Update, April 16-22, 2023

Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil Brazil has issued airworthiness directive BR-2023-04-02 for Embraer ERJ 190-300s and -400s, amending the computerized aircraft flight manual’s level-off altitude, effective April 11, 2023.

EASA has issued airworthiness directive 2023-0078 for ATR72s, requiring tests and modification of electrical power of direct current emergency electrical network and amending aircraft flight manual master minimum equipment list, effective April 26, 2023. 

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2023-04-09 for all Airbus A310s, revising the maintenance or inspection program to incorporate new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations, effective April 24, 2023. 

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2023-05-07 for all Airbus A350-941s and -1041s, requiring replacement of certain passenger oxygen masks, effective May 12, 2023. 

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2023-05-04 for all Boeing 787-8s, -9s and -10s, requiring an inspection or records review to determine the part number of the ram air turbine pump and control module and of the turbine assembly; and replacement of any module or assembly having certain part numbers, effective May 12, 2023.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2023-05-10 for certain A330s and A340-300s, requiring repetitive detailed inspections and electrical test measurements of the right-hand front windshield and applicable corrective action, effective May 12, 2023.
 

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2023-05-11 for Airbus Canada A220-100s and -300s, revising the maintenance or inspection program to incorporate new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations, effective May 12, 2023. 

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2023-05-13 for all Airbus A300-600s, revising the maintenance or inspection program to incorporate new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations, effective May 12, 2023.

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2023-05-14 for Airbus A320 family aircraft, requiring new repetitive inspections of the 80 view unit rack lower lateral fittings, lower central support, upper fittings, central post and shelves attachments for discrepancies, and corrective actions if necessary, effective May 12, 2023. 

FAA has issued airworthiness directive 2023-06-06 for all MHI RJ Aviation regional jets 700s, 701s, 702s, 550s, 705s, 900s and 1000s, correcting the initial compliance time for doing the new ram-air valve task, effective April 28, 2023. 
 

Transport Canada has issued airworthiness directive CF-2023-23 for Airbus Canada A220-100s and -300s, requiring replacement of horizontal stabilizer trim actuator upper gimbal bushing flanges, effective April 19, 2023. 

Transport Canada has issued airworthiness directive CF-2023-24 for Airbus Canada A220-100s and -300s, requiring modification of variable frequency generator power-feeder harness routing, effective April 20, 2023.
