EirTrade Brokering Sale of Stobart Air Inventory
EirTrade Aviation has been appointed as an agent to broker the sale of Irish regional airline Stobart Air’s inventories following its collapse. EirTrade says it intends to package the inventories, which include ground support equipment, expendables, consumables and tooling for ATR and Embraer aircraft, into several large lots that will be offered to the market.
AFI KLM E&M Component MRO Agreement in China
AFI KLM E&M Components China has signed an agreement with aircraft electronic systems specialist AvtechTyee to become its authorized repair shop in China. AFI KLM E&M will provide aftermarket services for AvtechTyee products to Chinese operators, including test, repair, overhaul, avionics modification and OEM warranty management.
Rusada Partners on Predictive Maintenance Capabilities
MRO software provider Rusada has signed a technology partnership with aircraft data specialist EXSYN that will give its software customers access to EXSYN’s Avilytics solution for advanced reliability analytics. It says the partnership will provide its customers with advanced fleet reliability reporting and analysis alongside ability to predict component failure probability.
LAS Cargo Picks Alkym MRO Software
Colombia-based cargo carrier Lineas Aereas Suramericanas S.A.S. (LAS Cargo) has signed onto Seabury Solutions’ Alkym MRO software platform. It is using the software’s modules for MRO, planning, engineering, maintenance control, purchasing and repairs, inventory, reliability, and receiving and dispatch, as well as its mobile application for mechanics and inspectors.
Direct Maintenance Opening Two New German Line Stations
Magnetic MRO subsidiary Direct Maintenance has announced plans to open two new line maintenance stations at Frankfurt and Munich airports in Germany. The stations will provide line maintenance services for a variety of narrowbodies and widebodies, including the Airbus A320, A330 and A350 and the Boeing 777 and 787.
Egyptair M&E Partners on NDT Training
Egyptair Maintenance & Engineering Company has signed an agreement with non-destructive testing (NDT) specialist Advanced Technology Group to provide ATG’s clients with NDT training services from its facilities in Cairo. The agreement is aimed at providing a solution for Middle East based clients unable to travel to ATG’s facilities in the Czech Republic due to COVID-19 challenges.
Mammoth Freighters Partners With GDC Technics
Mammoth Freighters has chosen GDC Technics as its first MRO partner for the Boeing 777 freighter conversion program it is pursuing. It says GDC’s facility at Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, Texas will support the program, with six widebody hangar bays for modification and maintenance work on 777s.
LHT Signs Avionics Repair Agreement with Thales
Lufthansa Technik has signed a Repair By The Hour agreement for avionics equipment maintenance services with Thales. The long-term agreement, which includes a spares purchase to support LHT’s inventory, will support a major Airbus fleet.
