Pratt & Whitney Cargo Engine Service Support Agreement
Chinese cargo carrier YTO Cargo has selected Pratt & Whitney for support of its new fleet of Boeing 767-300ERs powered by PW4000 engines. It will receive a support service package that Pratt & Whitney says will allow for smooth entry into service of the 767-freighter fleet.

ATR Boosts Asia-Pacific Repair Offerings
ATR says it is strengthening its partnership with Skyways Technics’ Malaysian branch to further support aftermarket needs in the Asia-Pacific region. Under the partnership, it will facilitate the management of sensitive structural component repairs such as leading-edge repairs, flight controls and flaps. According to ATR, the partnership will enable it to consolidate and improve its Global Maintenance Agreement offering.

Bamboo Airways Opts for AerFin Component Solution
Vietnamese airline Bamboo Airways has opted for AerFin’s BeyondPool component solution for its fleet of E-Jet aircraft. As AerFin’s first E-Jet contract customer in Asia, Bamboo Ariways will receive support including spares support and the provision of on-site inventory holding positioned at its headquarters in Hanoi.

Acumen and ITS India Partnership
Acumen Aviation and Infinity Trading & Solutions (ITS) have entered into an Aircraft and Component Services Agreement, under which Acumen will support ITS business activities within the India region such as the purchase of aircraft, engine and component assets as well as supporting the sale and marketing of ITS’ component inventory.

GA Telesis Becomes GMI Aero Distributor
GA Telesis has signed an agreement to become a global distributor for GMI Aero’s product line of composite repair tooling, heating and bonding equipment. It says its new Tool and GSE line has been very popular and that GMI Aero’s composite repair solutions complement its growing maintenance support portfolio.

Air Nostrum Signs StandardAero Contracts
StandardAero has signed an exclusive five-year agreement with Spanish regional airline Air Nostrum L.A.M. S.A. to provide support services for the Pratt & Whitney PW127M engines powering its fleet of ATR 72-600 aircraft. The airline also renewed its selection of StandardAero as the exclusive support provider for the Honeywell APUs equipping its fleet of CRJ200 and CRJ900/1000 regional jets.

EFW Secures New A321P2F Conversion Order
Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW) has received an order for four Airbus A321 Passenger-to-Freighter conversions from new customer GTLK Europe, a Dublin-based global leasing company. Three of the aircraft will be inducted for conversion this year and the fourth conversion will be carried out in 2022.

CTT Systems Retrofit Deal
CTT Systems has received an order to retrofit its Anti-Fuselage-Condensation system in 10 Boeing 737-800s for an existing airline customer. CTT’s Anti-Fuselage-Condensation system removes trapped water in blankets, keeps the crown area dry and prevents unwanted excess weight from water accumulation. System deliveries are scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2021 and be completed in the fourth quarter.

VAECO Heavy Check Agreements
Vietnam Airlines Engineering Company (VAECO) has reported it is scheduled to provide heavy maintenance services for Pacific Airlines on their eight Airbus A320s through November 2021. It has also signed an agreement to provide a heavy maintenance check for VietJet Air.

Vortex Inducts First GTF PW1000G Engine in New Facility
Vortex Aviation has inducted its first Pratt & Whitney Geared Turbo Fan PW1130G-JM engine at its new facility in Davie, Florida, which it relocated to in the fall of 2020. It says the expansion and increased capacity has broadened its customer activity and scope of work to provide strategic support for the next generation of engine models. The facility also services CFM LEAP-1A/-1B, CFM56, IAE V2500 and other commercial jet engines.
