Nayak Salzburg Station Progress
Nayak Aircraft Services has announced its Salzburg Airport station is fully up and running after opening at the beginning of 2021. It is now providing Eurowings with full line maintenance support on its fleet.

IAMA Releases Rulebook Update
The Independent Aircraft Modifier Alliance (IAMA) has released version 2.0 of its IAMA Rulebook, which is aimed at addressing lessor, operator and owner needs throughout the STC lifecycle. The new rules were created to address STC-based modification maintainability following research into creating procedures that streamline processes and reduce aircraft downtime. The latest edition of the Rulebook is available online to alliance member organizations, while airlines and lessors can request access through a free membership.

Avionica and ASM Partner on Satcom STC
Avionica and Aircraft Systems and Manufacturing have received certification approval of a new FAA STC for installation of the Avionica satLINK MAX Iridium satellite communications system with avRDC MAX Remote Data Concentrator/Quick Access Recorder for Airbus A320 series aircraft. The modification provides the aircraft operator voice/data communications with cellular gate link and future flight deck wireless connectivity for real-time transmission of flight operations and maintenance quality assurance data.

Joramco and flydubai Sign New MRO Agreement
Joramco has entered into a new maintenance agreement with flydubai that includes all C checks on the airline’s Next-Generation Boeing 737-800s. Checks began on March 1 and are set to continue through December 2021.

Barnes Aerospace Expands Ohio MRO Facility
Barnes Aerospace has expanded its MRO facility in West Chester, Ohio, which specializes in a variety of critical machining functions and extensive inspection applications. It says it is focused on advancing its manufacturing capabilities to best position the business to resume growth as the aviation industry recovers.

Kadex Becomes PMA Parts Distributor
Kadex has been appointed distributor of Aero Parts Mart and Jet Parts Engineering products. Kadex says its distribution of the companies’ PMA parts to its airline and MRO customers will help reduce maintenance costs and increase reliability.

GA Telesis Receives CAMAC Certification
GA Telesis has been granted a Certificate of Civil Aircraft Parts Distributor from the Civil Aviation Maintenance Association of China (CAMAC). It says it is the first foreign entity to receive the CAMAC certification, which allows it to sell and lease both new and used civil aviation parts in China.

CEVA Logistics to Support Collins Aerospace in Singapore
Collins Aerospace has awarded CEVA Logistics a two-year support contract in Singapore, under which it will manage in-factory logistics support for Collins’ Changi North site. CEVA Logistics will provide a range of services including inbound receiving to inventory, pick and kit, and outbound dispatch of overhaul aerospace parts.
