Leadership Changes at Lufthansa Technik
Soren Stark has taken over as chairman of the executive board at Lufthansa Technik (LHT) following the departure of Johannes Bussmann. Harald Gloy has taken over Stark’s previous role as chief operations officer, where he will lead LHT’s MRO operations.

Boeing Opens Brisbane Distribution Center
Boeing has opened a new Brisbane Distribution Center in Australia, which it says will double its local aviation spare parts inventory. The new facility is Boeing’s largest aircraft spares and chemicals distribution center in the Asia-Pacific region and it will serve commercial, defense, business and general aviation customers.

New AJW Group CEO
AJW Group has appointed Rachael Caston as CEO, effective Sept. 1. Caston comes to AJW from the UK Civil Aviation Authority, where she provided executive level leadership for the UK Airprox Board at Royal Air Force Northolt.

Triumph Wins Mammoth Freighters Contract
Mammoth Freighters has awarded Triumph Group a contract for composite air distribution ducts on its Boeing 777 passenger-to-freighter conversions. Under the contract, Triumph Interiors will provide manufacturing and engineering support services for a redesigned air distribution ducting system in the cargo compartment.

Delta TechOps Opens New LLP Shop in Atlanta
Delta TechOps’ Engine Maintenance Team has opened a new life limited parts (LLP) shop at its Atlanta facility, which will perform inspections and return to service functions. It says the shop will increase capacity for its disassembly and assembly areas, as well as create synergy across engine lines for working on LLPs.

Riverside Aircraft Maintenance Rolls out MRO Software
Manitoba, Canada-based MRO Riverside Aircraft Maintenance has implemented WinAir Version 7 software to track and manage its maintenance activities and maintain its inventory control. It says the software will help it improve maintenance processes, unify workforce and gain enhanced visibility across departments.

Triumph Wins Starlux Wheel and Brake Contract
Starlux Airlines has awarded Triumph Group a two-year wheel and brake maintenance repair contract. Triumph will support Starlux’s Airbus A30 XWB fleet from its facility in Chonburi, Thailand.

Bii.aero Signs A320 Component Support Agreement
European Air Charter has signed an exclusive lease and exchange agreement with Bii.aero. Under the agreement, Bii will undertake repair management for the airline and its inventory of Airbus A320 components will support the airline’s fleet in Sofia, Bulgaria and Germany.
