AFI KLM E&M Gets Equair Component Support Contract
Ecuadorian startup airline Equair has selected AFI KLM E&M to provide component support for its two Boeing 737 NGs. The multi-year contract includes maintenance, repairs, access to the MRO’s spare parts pool and provision of an advanced stock at Equair’s base at Mariscal Sucre International Airport.

Spairliners Extends Austrian E-Jet Component Support
Spairliners has extended its component support of Austrian Airline’s Embraer E-Jet fleet through a new long-term flight hour agreement. The contract includes access to Spairliners’ component pool, repair services, logistics and dedicated on-site stock at Austrian Airline’s Vienna home base.

FDH Aero Acquires Calco Aerospace
Aerospace distributor FDH Aero has acquired Calco Aerospace, an aerospace inventory and supply chain management specialist. FDH Aero says the acquisition, which is its ninth in the last five years, will strengthen its position in the military rotorcraft supply chain.

Tarmac Aerosave Appoints New President
Tarmac Aerosave has appointed Alexandre Brun as its new president. Brun, who takes over for Patrick Lecer, comes to Tarmac Aerosave from Safran, where he most recently served as director of civil engine maintenance at Safran Aircraft Engines.

Leadership Changes at FEAM
FEAM has appointed two new leadership roles. Wayne Sisson, formerly FEAM’s vice president of technical operations, will become its new chief operating officer. He will replace Dan Allawat, who has been appointed FEAM’s chief strategy officer.

New Managing Director at IAMA
The Independent Aircraft Modifier Alliance has appointed Nina Schulz as its new managing director. Schulz comes to IAMA from Lufthansa Technik, where she most recently served as head of product sales and key account management base maintenance services for EMEA.

VAS and Avolon A320 Consignment Agreement
VAS Aero Services has signed a consignment agreement with aircraft lessor Avolon to manage the disassembly and residual parts distribution of three Airbus A320 family aircraft. The aircraft will be torn down at VAS’s facility in Hondo, Texas and serviceable material will be marketed and placed through its worldwide parts network.

Delta TechOps Completes First Trent 1000 TEN Shop Visit
Delta TechOps has completed the first shop visit and test of a Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 TEN engine at its Technical. Operations Center in Atlanta. The engine was disassembled to replace high pressure turbine systems and blades, and Delta TechOps also incorporated several reliability improvement service bulletins.

HAECO Hong Kong Completes First Aeroflot 777 Cabin Reconfiguration
HAECO Hong Kong has completed its first Boeing 777-300ER cabin reconfiguration for Aeroflot. The reconfiguration has increased cabin capacity from 402 to 427 seats and includes installation of the Panasonic eX3 in-flight entertainment system.

GA Telesis Becomes Makro Aero Equipment Distributor
GA Telesis has signed a three-year agreement to become a global distributor of Makro Aero’s aircraft access stands, platforms, and maintenance and painting docking systems.
