AvAir Acquires Airbus A320 Rotables
AvAir has acquired the Airbus A320 rotable pool from HAECO ITM, which will add more than 2,000 rotable components to its stock. The components will be added to its Dublin facility to support A320 customers in the region.

ATS Appoints Wencor as Distributor of PMA Portfolio
ATS has appointed Wencor as sole distributor of its Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) product line through 2025, approved by the FAA under ATSMRO part number references. The PMA line includes ATS’ patented EverLatch Cargo Door Latch and other replacements for high cost, long lead time and high failure parts.

GracoRoberts Acquires Able Aerospace Adhesives
Aerospace chemicals distributor GracoRoberts has acquired Able Aerospace Adhesives, which it says will extend its footprint in the Asia-Pacific region and bring more international, MRO and military focus to its aerospace business model.
 
MTU Signs Engine MRO Contract with Air Sial
MTU Maintenance has signed an exclusive five-year engine MRO contract with startup airline Air Sial covering its six V2500 engines. The contract also includes engine trend monitoring, on-site services, lease support and technical training.

Magnetic MRO Signs CAMO Agreement with Australian Airline
Magnetic MRO has signed a CAMO service agreement with Australian operator REX Airlines, which will begin in the first quarter of 2021. The airline says it looks forward to tapping Magnetic MRO’s experience to enhance its in-house capabilities.

CASL Begins Support for JSC Royal Flight Airlines
China Aircraft Services Limited has begun providing ground handling and mechanic support at Hong Kong International Airport to JSC Royal Flight Airline’s Boeing 767 and 777 flights from Moscow’s Vnukovo International Airport and Sheremetyevo International Airport.

PIA Gets Grant for Avionics Equipment Upgrade
Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics (PIA) has been awarded a $50,000 grant from the Keystone Communities program, which it will use to upgrade equipment for hands-on training of avionics maintenance students. It says the new equipment will help students properly test transponders and other distance measuring equipment to current aviation specifications.

Summit Aviation Partners With Cabin Crafters On Interior Refurbishments
Summit Aviation has partnered with Part 145 repair station Cabin Crafters Inc. to support fixed and rotor wing interior refurbishments. Interior services will be provided at Cabin Crafters’ facility near Teterboro Airport in New Jersey and at Summit Aviation’s site in Middletown, Delaware.

Bombardier Completes Berlin Service Centre Acquisition
Bombardier has completed its acquisition of the Berlin Service Centre by purchasing shares from Lufthansa Technik and ExecuJet Aviation Group. Located at Berlin Brandenburg Airport, the service center will provide maintenance and support for Bombardier’s growing fleet of Learjet, Challenger and Global business jets based in Europe, Russia, Africa and the Middle East.

Honeywell Signs Historic APU Deal With Sichuan Airlines
Sichuan Airlines has signed a five-year agreement selecting Honeywell’s 131-9A APUs for its new and existing Airbus A320 fleet, including replacing the APUs on its 141 existing A320s. Honeywell says the agreement is its largest APU retrofit deal to date.
