KF Aerospace Adopts dentCHECK
KF Aerospace has adopted 8tree’s handheld 3D dentCHECK tool for dent-mapping activities in its commercial MRO operations. It says dentCHECK has helped it improve accuracy, accelerate damage mapping processes and produce digital records for repair development.

New CCO at MAAS Aviation
MAAS Aviation has appointed Richard Marston as its new chief commercial officer. Marston formerly served as MAAS Aviation’s director of customer service, sales and marketing EMEA. He replaces Fran Carew, who is retiring after 35 years with MAAS Aviation.

Worldwide Aircraft Services Gets Embraer STC
Worldwide Aircraft Services has received FAA certification for its installation of a folding stair in the main entrance of Embraer EMB 135/145 aircraft. The STC keeps the side-hinged jetway door and installs a folding stair and track system for stowage of the stairs aft of the existing jetway door.

CSAT Selects Q-Pulse Software
Czech Airlines Technics has chosen Ideagen’s Q-Pulse aviation safety management software suite. CSAT says the software will help it further digitalize, increase effectiveness and develop a positive safety culture.

Air Senegal Installs IFE System
Air Senegal has installed Moment’s Flymingo Box inflight entertainment system on its fleet of Airbus A319 and A321 aircraft. The Flymingo Box enables passengers to connect to a local cloud and access streaming content from a mobile device.

SNC Plans New Dayton MRO Facilities
Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) has announced that it is planning two future MRO facilities at Dayton International Airport, which it says will create approximately 150 new jobs. SNC noted Dayton’s “extensive supply chain, highly skilled workforce and proven standing as a logistics hub” as drivers behind the decision.

FEAM Signs Honeywell Agreement
FEAM Technical Services has signed an agreement with Honeywell Aerospace to offer avionics retrofit, modification and upgrade programs for Airbus and Boeing operators. In addition to providing services from its key maintenance facilities in Cincinnati and Miami, its Remote Install Teams will be available at selected operator locations worldwide.

FEAM Appoints New Director of EMEA Operations
FEAM has appointed Frank Daams as director of operations for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, where he will head up the company’s international expansion in key markets. Daams comes to FEAM from Netherlands-based line maintenance provider Direct Maintenance BV.

C&L Scores Saab 340B+ PBH Agreement
C&L Aerospace has signed a multi-year agreement with Legends Airways to provide power-by-the-hour services for its fleet of Saab 340 B+ cargo aircraft. The charter and cargo airline has also committed to a supply agreement that includes rotables, engine LRUs and expendables.

C&L Gets Embraer FMS Upgrade STC
C&L Aviation Services has received FAA STC certification for its Embraer 135/145 Universal flight management system (FMS) upgrade, which upgrades the Universal UNS-1K Series FMS to the UNS-1LW WAAS enabled unit. It says EASA and UK Civil Aviation Authority approval is expected by spring.
