Dubai Aircraft Painting Agreement
Satys has signed an agreement with the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Hub to develop a paint hangar at Dubai South that will provide aircraft painting for narrowbodies and private jets. Construction will begin this year and is expected to finish by Q3 2023.

FL Technics Capability Extensions
FL Technics has received Part 145 approval extensions to provide line maintenance services for Boeing 787s and for borescope inspections of Pratt & Whitney PW1100G-JM series engines. It says the developments will boost its flexibility and opportunities to provide high-demand aftermarket services.

Extension of Aircraft Technical Training Partnership
Lufthansa Technical Training and Temasek Polytechnic have extended their partnership agreement to provide aircraft technical training for another five years. Under the new agreement, the companies will jointly develop and offer aircraft technical training courses for both local and overseas participants.

Vallair Opens New Chateauroux Hangar
Vallair has opened its new maintenance hangar at Marcel Dassault Airport in Chateauroux, France. The facility can accommodate up to five Airbus A321-sized aircraft simultaneously or a combination of A330/A340s and A321s. Vallair will initially focus on A330 heavy maintenance capabilities and in-house cargo conversion services on narrowbodies at the new facility.

Air Sial Picks Epcor for APU Maintenance
Air Sial has signed an exclusive long-term contract with Epcor for comprehensive maintenance of the APUs equipping its fleet of three Airbus A320s. The contract includes services on Pratt & Whitney APS3200 and Honeywell GTCP131-9A APUs

Arajet Airline Picks TRAX eMRO Software
Dominican Republic-based ultra low-cost carrier Arajet Airline has signed a deal with TRAX to implement its eMRO system to manage maintenance activities on its fleet of Boeing aircraft. The startup airline will soon launch operations at its hub in Santo Domingo.

Moog Acquires TEAM Accessories Limited
Moog has acquired Dublin-based MRO TEAM Accessories Limited, which focuses on critical and high-value jet engine accessories used by global commercial airline and cargo carriers. TEAM will be incorporated under Moog’s Aircraft Controls segment.

Kenya Airways and Boeing Landing Gear Agreement
Kenya Airways has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Boeing for landing gear exchange services. Under the agreement, Boeing will provide nine landing gear shipsets to support the airline’s 787 fleet wherever and whenever needed.
