easyJet Signs Onto flydocs
EasyJet has signed a 10-year agreement with flydocs to use its software to digitize records and asset management of its fleet. It will use flydocs’ AMOS integration and digital records migration to modernize its operations and support aircraft transitions.

AI Engine Borescope Inspection Partnership
Aiir Innovations has partnered with Waygate Technologies to incorporate Aiir’s artificial intelligence technology into Waygate’s Everest Mentor Visual iQ VideoProbe. The technology will enable automatic defect detection of still images taken during aero-engine borescope inspections. By embedding Aiir’s technology directly into the borescope, inspectors can use the technology even when not connected to the internet.

EFW Gets New SmartLynx A321P2F Orders
Elbe Flugzeugwerke has received new orders for six Airbus A321 passenger-to-freighter conversions from SmartLynx Airlines, scheduled for 2022 and 2023. The conversions will be performed at ST Engineering’s conversion sites in Singapore and China.

ST Engineering Adds LEAP-1B Quick-Turn Services in Singapore
ST Engineering has established quick-turn services for the CFM LEAP-1B engine at its facility in Singapore. It plans to expand its capability in LEAP-1B engines to full MRO services by the end of 2023.

Fokker Techniek Wins Its First Widebody VIP Contract
Fokker Techniek has signed a contract with German charter carrier K5-Aviation to complete its first widebody VIP cabin. It will be installing a VIP cabin on an Airbus ACJ330 aircraft, which K5-Aviation took delivery of from Airbus on Feb. 9.

Turkish Technic Begins 777 Landing Gear Overhauls
Turkish Technic has completed its first Boeing 777-300ER landing gear overhaul at its base in Istanbul. It expects to receive certification for the capability on the full landing gear ship set from EASA, FAA and the Turkish Directorate General of Civil Aviation soon.

HAECO Launches Aircraft Paint Capability in Florida
HAECO Americas has launched aircraft paint capability at its MRO facility in Lake City, Florida with a renovation that included upgrades such as new divider curtains, climate-controlled paint storage and upgraded heating and fire suppression systems. United Airlines has selected HAECO Americas to paint some of its aircraft in 2022, starting with a Boeing 767 that is now in process.

SKY Signs Airbus Component Services Agreement
Chilean low-cost carrier SKY has signed an Airbus Flight Hour Services-Components agreement for its entire A320 family fleet. Under the agreement, Airbus will handle management and servicing of the airline’s components, including pooling, stock management, component maintenance and engineering services.

Gameco Opens Hangar III
Gameco has officially launched its Hangar III at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, which will be used as its Boeing Converted Freighter production line. It towed three Boeing 737NG BCF aircraft into the new hangar on Feb. 7.

Aircraft Recycling Partnership
SIA Engineering (Philippines) Corporation has signed an agreement with North American Aerospace Industries to provide aircraft recycling solutions, including aircraft parking and storage, component harvesting and dismantling activities. The services will take place at SIAEP’s Clark, Philippines facility.
